    Xbox enforcement not taking action when it should


    I was recently given a death threat from a player. In the message he also used the F word. I reported him and nothing happened. The message doesn't get deleted like normal and they are not being com banned or anything. I've seen people getting a 24 hr com ban for using a word like the B word (female dog), but using the F word while giving death threats merits nothing? Am I missing something here? Maybe we aren't told anymore when action is taken?

    The enforcement tram doesn't always let you know when action is taken. Occasionally you'll get a thank you message. It doesn't mean they're not going to take action though.

    This is just totally up with The Xbox Live Enforcement Team they will take actions if possible, but you should Instantly backed out when you saw something like that.

    Unfortunately bans, suspensions, and other enforcement actions cannot be dealt with via the forums or through Xbox Support. The only way to view anything related to enforcement actions is on the Enforcement Website. When someone gets banned/suspended, they
    forfeit all rights to their account as per the Terms of Service you have to agree to when creating an account on Xbox Live. So called "permanent" bans cannot be overturned by case reviews, however, you should still have them log-in and find out on the Enforcement
    Website if one is available for their enforcement action. http://enforcement.xbox.com

    It's not okay and it is something that the enforcement team takes seriously, but it can take time for investigations to take place and for the enforcement team to take action. There's also no way for you to know for sure when another person gets a suspension.
    As long as you're reporting the, they will be looked into and the enforcement team will take the appropriate action.
