    Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 - Core Connection issues


    So my controller is becoming unresponsive, at times no form of input gets a response and sometimes just straight up disconnects. Pad is always connected via USB cable, never via Bluetooth. I've ensured pad is up-to-date in Xbox accessories app, tried updating drivers in device manager. Also used a new USB cable and slot, still having issues.

    Not that it maters, but I have also recently done a clean reinstallation of windows for other reasons. Warranty run out last December so looking if there are any fixes before chucking it and going with a different brand of controller as just over one year of use and braking is ridiculous
