Xbox Elite V2 Halo edtion controller repair.

I bought a Elite V2 halo controller in January 2022 and the RB button stopped working in November 2022. I sent it in to get it repaired but instead of getting my controller back I got back another Elite V2 Halo. The one I received stank of cigarette smoke and the right hand thumb stick was instantly faulty. I was pretty annoyed to say the least.

I called support and demanded my original controller back as I was digested with the broken, smoke smelling one I had been given. after 45 minutes on hold the support staff told me if I sent the controller back they would be able to send my original controller back to me.

Instead after a month and a half delay they sent me back the cigarette smelling broken elite halo controller and a standard used elite V2. And to top that off the controllers were delivered one day after the 12 months warranty had expires. Laughable right.

I called support and asked what had happened. They told me they are no longer repairing Halo edition controllers and I had been returned it with a standard elite V2 to replace it.

I told them it was not what I was told would happen but instead of offering any kind of solution the support staff refused to do anything and when I asked to speak to a manger or be given a complaints procedure they supplied me a Microsoft USA number. I am in the UK.....

Honestly the whole experience has been disgusting from start to finish. I'm left with a broken stinking halo Elite V2 and an unknown used elite v2. Well worth the £300 for a special edition controller that cant even last 12 months without fault.....
