XBox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller only turning on when cable plugged in

What a pitty. A high-end controller with such a price tag, but I think these things happen, it's tough luck.

Will initiate the warranty repair / replacement then next week, before I go on holiday, in hope that I will have it back by the time I return Thanks for the quick reply.

Customizing user profiles on a Windows 10 PC is not supported via Bluetooth. Any Bluetooth capable Xbox One controllers will need to be plugged in via USB-C or through the Xbox Wireless Adapter if you want to customize and use custom profiles. The Xbox Accessories
app will not detect your controller over Bluetooth connection.

Things to keep in mind:

• The Xbox Accessories app is only available on Xbox One and Windows 10.

If anyone is having trouble with your xbox elite wireless series 2 controller disconnecting while your using it the controller requires alot of battery and a solid Bluetooth connection so any Bluetooth devices near it will cause the controller to disconnect
i had this problem yesterday. To fix it all you have to do is hard restart your console and before you turn anything on turn off Bluetooth on all devices like phones wireless headphones anything that requires Bluetooth once you turn off everything plug the
charging cable that came with the controller into the front usb of the xbox and the other end directly into the controller. Then turn on your Xbox once it boots up make sure your controller is turned on and then update your controller with the cable still
plugged in once it updates start playing a game with the cable out and test it for about 2 hours and if it doesn't disconnect try turning all your Bluetooth devices back on to make its working also instead of plugging the cable into the xbox for charging the
controller plug the usb cable into something with a high output charge like an ipad charger or a phone charger that should fix your controller msg me if you have any questions Gamertag Roguered54
