Xbox Elite Series 2 RB Stopped Functionally

After using the Elite Series 2 since Day 1, I was pleased with the controller, until 2 days ago my RB didn’t respond to input, but my LB will respond. When playing fortnite, at first when I pressed RB it would double click or no response and I thought
it was a bug in the game, until I went to rocket league and when i pressed RB to do an air roll, my car didn’t roll. Then I tested it in Modern Warfare and I couldn’t throw my grenades. I never had a problem with any xbox controllers until now. I play on PC
with controller and when I tested it on my xbox one X same result and I do have my controller up to date on the latest firmware. Any help is appreciated.

Update! I’m on my third controller and the RB is beginning to do it again. It has to be more than a bad batch. It has to be a design flaw in the controller if all of the controllers I’ve gotten have the same problem. Hopefully they release an updated version
of the elite.

Bummer my warranty expired 3 months ago and Im starting to get a few issues. The RB being one of the most annoying

I had the same problem so i returned my controller and got a new one but now im having the same problem with my new one

Yeah this is my second return I'm waiting on. Should be here Monday. It better be my last too. I'm not in the mood to return it a third time!

My xbox one series 2 controller has the same issue and what do you know 94 days later 4 days out of warranty im sorry but a controller over 200 bucks and it breaks almost immediately

If you're from the UK you will have 12 months warranty.
