Xbox Elite Series 2 Left stick Drift

Hi,

I bought in November 2020 an Xbox Elite series 2

A couple of months, ago, the left stick begun to act by himself

With the controller on a plane surface, the Y axis of this stick act as if it was going up, while it doesn't move at all.

On the Windows USB controller panel, displaying the raw values for input, the Y values goes down slowly without moving.

At the beginning, (1 or 2 months back) it would require some time before acting like this.

Now it's doing this after a couple of seconds only, so navigating in menus or playing games is becoming a nightmare because characters moves suddently by themselves and menus quickly are out of control

I'm out of warranty, (i mean commercial one) since 15 days now as i bought it on amazon on November 14th 2020 and we are now November 27th 2021

But as i'm in europe (France), can i use the "Garantie de conformité" which should be a two years legal warranty?

I have 2 Elites drifting to the right from the left analog stick.

my 1st elite: crash gumi grips. send back to service, but i buy a new one for this 2 week. Try this new: right stick drift to right...

ok, my 1st elite came back, try this. left stick drift to right (fresh new controller from ms service)

ok i sent back this 2 broken Elites.

1-2 week done, get 2 new fresh Elites... tested... both new Elite's (my 3rd and 4th) left sticks drift to right...

my last 5 Elites broken, 3 fresh from Xbox Support. Thats a big joke.

I have two original elite controllers and one pf the new elite 2 controllers that I got my son for Christmas. They all have drift issues with the left sticks. I hd thought it would be addressed with the new version, but I guess not. Please help
make this right.

Unfortunately, stick drift seems all too common in this current generation on Xbox, on PS4, and even on Switch. I wonder if it's because so many games use the sticks at buttons as well, which is leading to extra pressure being exerted? I've lost many controllers
to stick drift, and looking at the forums and reddit, a lot of people are complaining about stick drift issues from day one with the Elite series 2. Fingers crossed that Xbox can address the issue for everybody affected by it.

Typically they just send you a whole new unit while they refurb the old if possible. They should replace it with the same colors too. Keep in mind though that the Elite Series 2 controller is VERY notorious for left stick drift unfortunately.
