Xbox Elite Series 2 - left joystick input lag / starting to drift

I am unbale to get support from xBox Help website - Website will not except my controllers serial number so I can request support. I bought my controller back in January 2020 and recently the left joystick has had an issue where there is a delay in me moving
a joystick and the action on the screen takes place “input lag“ Website will not except my controllers serial number so I can request support. I have verified all settings through the Xbox accessories app that the joystick has the default settings for joystick
control.

I need Xbox’s help:

1. The ability to contact them to get a repair for this controller.

2. Also stand behind the product in a recently expired warranty to get this issue resloved.

Usually the drift can be a build up of grease and dirt underneath causing the drift.

Thanks for your feedback... Regarding your first suggestion the controller is maintained and kept clean. Regarding your second suggestion of doing a service order this is mentioned in my original post but this is where the problem occurs where I am unable
to move past a serial number input to get a service request started. The website does not except the serial number from the series 2 elite.

I have had the same issues, I've sent two controllers back now. The buttons and drifting seem to be notorious. Even this latest one I received is already acting weird.

ive seen a lot of users have been having issues with the series 2 the only thing i can really recommend is using compressed air and making sure theres no dirt or anything also if its still under warranty you may be able to get it replaced if not i would
recommmend creating a microsoft service order so they can look at it!
