xbox elite series 2 controller usb drivers

hi. I've been able to connect my controller via USB however this elite series 2 controller ( just over a month old) is using generic drivers. I've been trying all morning to find official Microsoft USB driver for this controller. I was able to connect
via bluetooth and that had an official driver downloaded but i cannot get one for usb. any help would be appreciated.

In this case, I would suggest you to uninstall the controller driver:

- Go to Start > Search and click on Device manager > Search for the Elite Series 2 driver > Right click on it > Uninstall.

- Restart your computer and plug the controller by USB. It will install the driver again.

Hi Lucas, there is no Elite Series 2 controller driver only show 360 controller I uninstalled the driver, restart computer and connect the controller and still have the problem sorry

I'm having the exact same problem and agent i spoke with said thats just the way it is until microsoft releases a driver for this controller.

6 months with this problem. I tried 5 different adapters and a lot of games, but random disconnection continue to exist.
