    Xbox Elite Series 2 controller unresponsive buttons


    I just bought my first Elite controller yesterday, after doing a lot of research about other pro controllers, I concluded that the paddle placement on the Elite would be the best suited for my play style. Out of the box there was an issue with the Y button
    not registering clicks. Y was not a button/function I had intended to map to a paddle, so it is a button that I need to work consistently. The Y button only registers an input every 2 or 3 clicks, even in the button testing page on the accessories app.
    How often have people had issues with unresponsive face buttons? After paying $180 for a controller I hoped it would work well out of the box. If there is a consistent issue with unresponsive buttons then I will just return it for a refund and move toward
    another controller. But if this might be an anomaly, I would really prefer to use the Elite since I do like every other feature about it. Thank you!

    I'm nit sure though my elite series 2 had some issues, I had unresponsive buttons and stick drift, I took mine back to the store, but they had not elite controllers in stock I got the Razer ultimate edition instead and I'm loving it at the moment

    Since we have two controllers, we’ve returned 6 controllers now and they all have the same issue. Not sure what to do as exchanging one just get you the same problem. It’s all over the review boards at Amazon and others. This is not a minor issue as Microsoft
    has expressed and they’ve offered no answer.

    Same issue here... the A button works about 90% of the time but every so often it does nothing....

    Especialy frustrating when playing rocket league or red dead
