Xbox Elite Series 2 controller sent back untouched?

We understand that you received your Xbox Elite Series 2 controller back without any repairs or replacements. As repair of device will be possible if the device is not tampered. In which case, the taken off the front plate can be considered as tampering of the device. It is also important to note that any modifications made to the controller may void the warranty, so it's best to avoid making any changes to the controller unless instructed to do so by Microsoft.

The best course to do here is to contact our live support team and inform them about your controller's issue and the front plate that was taken by you. So, they would know if that controller can be good for repair.

3. If not, please select the country/region it is showing and select the correct one among the lists.

7. The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.
   
8. On the final window, you will be presented with multiple options. We suggest selecting either the "Chat online" or the "Request a call" options to speak with someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.

Sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with the current Xbox controllers, however, the question forum is the incorrect place to post your feedback. Unless you are asking about current Xbox controller advancements in-which case that would be the Xbox Elite Controller
Series 1 and Xbox Elite Controller Series 2. The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 being the newest on the market and being awarded,
