    Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller Constantly Disconnecting on PC


    Hi,

    I recently purchased an Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller to play games on my PC with, but within 1-5 minutes of game play, the game starts to stutter (happens on multiple games) and then the controller disconnects.

    Subsequently, if I go into my bluetooth settings, it's still paired but the light on my controller is blinking as if it is not.

    My PC is updated, I did the Intel bluetooth update as well, and checked for any controller drivers that needed updating. Nothing has worked.

    I've even purchased an Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 and it won't connect.

    I've tried calling Microsoft, but when I get an automated message saying to go to xbox.com/help and fill out the contact form. When I go to xbox.com/help and click "contact us", it says help currently not available...

    This is very frustrating, considering this controller was so expensive. I can't even get in touch with anyone about this while the warranty days keeps tolling.

    Since the Elite Series 2 has the battery built in, then you cannot change them. If the controller is constantly disconnecting, and you have no issues with your other controllers, then you are better off taking it back and either get a replacement or money
    back.

    There was a new update released, can you try updating your Elite Series 2 controller again?

    I also have the Elite Series 2 controller and I do not run into these issues when using it with the PC.
