    XBox Elite Series 2 Controller Bluetooth Issues


    This has been posted before but I haven't seen anything within the last few months. There has been a widespread issue of BT connectivity with the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 (That's what I have so I'm not sure about Series 1 or regular controllers being
    affected.) I want to bring this up so that there's more visibility to the issue so a fix can be made available sooner.

    My Problem: When the controller is connected via BT simultaneously with BT headphones, games will randomly stutter to a very low framerate, the controller disconnects, and then the BT audio gets ever so slightly noisy (I'm not sure how to
    describe it, but there's a noticeable difference in quality.

    Band-aid Solution: Go wired on either the controller, or the headphones. These are ok solutions but not ideal, I'd love to have them both be wireless. It's 2020 after all.

    Troubleshooting steps I have already taken: Restarting my PC, updating my controller, reinstalling BT Drivers, using the latest version of windows.

    My PC Specs: Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19041, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro WiFi Motherboard, Intel Core i9-9900 CPU, 32gb RAM. This Motherboard has BT5 integrated in the motherboard and otherwise works just fine.

    the elite controller series 2 has Bluetooth compatibility and is therefore compatible with windows 10 too. the first release of the elite controller was before xbox was integrated into windows 10, therefore there was no need at the time for Bluetooth.

    The elite series one controller never had Bluetooth so you would've received exactly what you ordered if you need Bluetooth you need a new edition standard controller or an elite series 2
