    Xbox Elite Controller White Issue


    Hello there. I have had an Xbox Elite controller for around 18 months now, the rubber grips have pretty much peeled off. Obviously not comfortable to grip the controller. The shop I bought it from are obviously closed and customer services for the shop have
    told me to wait until the shop reopens to see what the staff think, which I can also understand.

    Issue is, I only have the one controller. I do not wish to make the situation worse, or risk breaking the controller which will stop it being replaced. Any advice?

    My other question is, will the Elite V2 have a better rubber grip system? My plan is to get a refund (as the shop do not sell V1 any more) and put the remainder of the money towards a V2.. (I worked at a gaming shop and got the MS staff discount on my Elite
    controller.

    Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Any advice on where I should go would be most helpful.

    I've had my white elite controller for over a year now without any issues. I went through two black elite controllers because the grips came off. I haven't had that issue with the white ones. I'm looking forward to the elite 2 controller.

    Xbox controllers seem to be made very poorly.

    I haven't had any issues with the white Elite controller like I did with the black ones. I would recommend the white Elite, but you're probably better off waiting for Series 2.
