Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 with Nvidia Shield

I am unable to use my Elite Controller Series 2 paddles with Nvidia Shield.

I have found a discussion about this on the Nvidia Shield official forum and the support answer was this problem is come from MS side.

Is there any chance for an update from MS side?

"The paddle buttons currently emit strange commands that confuse android. out of the box, the A,B,X,Y buttons also confuse android but the firmware update of the controller fixes this. Hopefully MS will
fix the paddle buttons the same way they did the A,B,X,Y buttons so they will begin to work when in profile mode. Note that by default, unless you put it into one of the prfiles (lights in bottom center), the paddles don't emit anything. We are adding a mapping
for this controller for the Xbox button to map to home. Today, it maps to the menu button."

I haven't tested it, I am waiting for the ota update.

Very good question, It might not register the paddles. It's just locking them off for game reasons it might be worth while passing it on to nvida to contact ms to try and see if there is a work around/update to get the issue resolved

Any new outcome, do newest updates resolve this issue with paddles?

The nvidia shield register the pull on the paddles but only once and after no more. If I switch the profile on the controller and then back it going to work again still only once.
The earlier issue with the a-b-x-y buttons was solved by a fimrware update for the controller.
From the Nvidia point of view this is the same situation.
