    Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 Frames Drop and DC from BT


    Just received my Xbox Elite Series 2 back on friday from Amazon and im having problems with BT i connect with my computer with MB B450 Pro Carbon from MSI.

    Im playing normally and from no where it start dropping frames from nowhere and then DC at the middle of the match at COD or any game and then it reconects back.

    Im been hearing from friends and other ppl that this is a normal issue.

    MS what is happening this control is completely wrong

    Stick Drifting, Bumper not working, BT does not work this control is complete Update, follow your Troubleshooting on other threads done everything and still having the same issue.

    The lot number is 2012 is one of the last ones released..

    Im really mad to spend more than 150 Dollars on Control that not work wirelessly with my PC..

    Let me know what is the next steps if there i no fix let me know to ask a refund on Amazon where i buy it and get a

    Razer Wolverine Ultimate. its a wired control but is works flawlessly.

    Hey DavideSisi.

    Thank you for reaching out to the forum. First make sure you have a controller supporting Bluetooth (Model nr. can be found in the battery compartment).

    Not supporting BT: 1537, 1697 and 1698 (Elite Series 1).

    Supporting BT: 1708 and Elite Series 2.

    Are you able to connect through USB ?

    Same issue here. Game starts to stutter as BT drops out. Once its disconnected the frames are fine but controller xbox logo is pulsing.

    I have the wireless adapter for pc from my elite 1, I paired to that and haven't had any issues yet with that setup.

    Firmware was updated and is current. On windows 10 pro 1909 and latest nvidia driver that was released for Jedi: Fallen Order.

    BT would be nice so I dont have to use the wireless adapter. But till it's fixed I guess I have to.

    Elite Controller 2 Bluetooth issues

    My elite 2 when connected to PC via bluetooth loses connection and I am also experiencing sudden frame rate drops which I do not see when playing it with wired or keyboard or mouse. I did not had any issues with Elite 1 which connected via a usb
    dongle. I updated the controller and the bluetooth feature is broken. Anyone got it to work on PC via bluetooth without any issues?
    exactly the same issue here, have no problem with using my xbox one s controller on PC, but lots of disconnections and frame rate drops with elite 2
