    Hi,

    I've had my series one controller for about 2 or so years now and I noticed that it had started to not only fall apart, but the micro USB port on the controller suddenly stopped working without warning or prior issues.

    My question: is there a way to fix the rubber that had started to fall off, and is there a sort of warranty for the micro USB port suddenly not working? I've taken good care of this controller because of how expensive it was and I wanted it to last a long
    time, but despite my efforts, it just started falling apart from normal / light use. My other "normal" xbox one controllers that I own have outlasted the elite despite rough and longer use for the cheaper models, which is concerning to me.

    Xbox elite series 2 problems

    I have had both the elite controller and also the elite series 2.

    Issues with both are quite bad considering the cost of the things. The elite series 2 controller has left stick wandering issues, the a button is sometimes non responsive, the bumpers sound really tacky and the rubber comes away from the plastic body where
    you grip.

    I have gone through 3 elite series controllers (thankfully Game exchanged them each time) and am on the fourth now and it has the exact same issues as the other three, with the acception of the rubber coming away, not had it long enough for that.

    To sum up, I am very unhappy with the controller, so much so I am at the moment using an elite series one that has had all the rubber removed, its a bit uncomfortable but this said controller has no other issues.

    If it's an elite controller it should have the rubber grip on the back of the controller body.

    Rubber grip are bad, glue is necessary to replace
    I've had my elite controller for a few years now and I've noticed no issues with the grips. In fact, the controller still works like it is new.

    Xbox Controller Elite Series 2 is best for you.. I like to buy extra thumb grips rubbers to go on my controllers to protect the sticks. The grips goes over the controller sticks. Its better grip when playing games.

    Series 2 Elite controller- any specifics on improvements regarding known problems?

    I was disappointed in the Elite when my bumper buttons broke. Also the rubber grips coming off as well. Hopefully these issues are & will be fixed for series 2.
