Xbox Elite Controller Scam

Xbox can't do anything about something done outside of their sites. You could report it to Instagram though and also contact your bank or credit company for a charge back.

ELITE CONTROLLERS ARE SCAMS, the d pad especially is completely fake like you could get a better one from CHINA.

DO not buy. They must of made great profits off scamming their customers for this. Sticking with all normal parts from now on.

Didn't even bother getting mine replaced. I used that controller literally a handful of times.

My elite series 2 rb button doesnt work and i cant find a replacement button how do i fix this

Microsoft knew the controllers were defective and still sold them as a good product. they wont do anything to fix your controller because its most like out of warranty thats why the warranty was so short. The whole elite series 2 was a scam

Scam? Or really, really bad luck in acquiring brand new controllers that each happen to have themselves defect contaminated. I've been there. You should of seen the L3 left analog stick replacement issues I'd have with Xbox 360 controllers back in the day,
purely cause I used the L3 stick "that much" and eventually, yes I would have to get a full replacement. It was a common thing. I was never thumb gentle, as one would put it

With every generation, comes every set of quirks and faultiness. Faulty controllers comes down to many variables, like how you play video games, what style of constant strain do you put on particular or commonly used buttons/joysticks. It's like, an engineering
worst nightmare to give you the chart.

Although I am briefly familiar with the on-going past xbox elite developing controller defect history, do also know other companies aren't perfect too.

Switch joysticks having problems, faulty HDMI's being shipped with Playstation 4's..

With your valid warranty you should always be able to get that refund if you are still encountering your problem. Remember, not every gaming console company is perfect, and not every hardware, firmware, nook and tinker that comes with it is either.

The post was mostly from frustration but thanks for the reply and explaining. I understand issues like this arise often and the fact it was the same issue multiple times makes me concerned. Its irritating that the remotes come and after a month/couple
weeks the analog and buttons start acting up cause i planned to use the controller for next gen too but what happens when this issues continue to happen when my warranty runs out?
