Xbox elite controller not turning on or charging

I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your Xbox Elite Controller. Could you please try connecting it to another device, such as a PC or laptop, to see if it responds? If the controller still doesn’t power on or respond when connected to a different device, it’s likely a hardware issue. If it's still under warranty, you can submit a request for a replacement directly through that link.

If it's out of warranty, you might consider visiting a trusted electronics or computer repair shop. In my experience, I had an issue with a stuck RT button, and it was repaired quickly and at a lower cost.

What do you mean you "pull it off after it turns on"?

Do you have the controller connected via USB cable? Are you using a battery from the Play & Charge kit and charged the controller via USB?

Does the controller work if you use fresh, disposable batteries?

The Elite controller is compatible with the Xbox One play & charge kit and also with rechageable batteries as you can see here (see specifications):

Thanks for posting here on this xbox forums. The Elite controller does in fact have a 3.5 port for the headset. All accessories should work with that controller as well, including the charging stations.

The same thing happened to me just now (with Diablo IV). My Elite 2 controller, was at half-charge, but while I was playing, it disconnected and turned into a brick. It would not turn back on, would not charge (via the cable nor the dock), no lights, nothing... it just died. I've been searching for solutions to re-activate it.

This is the second $200 controller that has inexplicably bricked on me.
