Xbox Elite Controller Button Layout Profiles Malfunctioning And Unuseable

So I was trying to set up 2 different custom button layout profiles on my xbox elite controller, and kept trying to remove the default one so I could have 2 custom profiles instead of 1 default profile and 1 custom, and I tried to do this by assigning the
second profile to the slot the default was in since there was no delete option on the default profile.

Instead, I accidentally somehow ended up with 2 default profiles that can't be removed, rendering my profiles unuseable and I can't assign even 1 now. How do I undo this, and is there any way to get rid of the default profile alltogether?

Messed up with button layout...

Yesterday I wanted to change my controller button layout (Using XboxOneS) and I accidentaly assigned my A button to nothing, when trying to reset the button layout I couldn't because I couldn't of course confirm the reset. I tried to remove the batteries
of the controller immediatly after realizing, I turned off the console but it didn't work, it saved all. I tried to use steams controller configuration on PC to change the layout but it did not work, I tired to use the Xbox Smartglass app on PC but I have
to be using the same wifi as the console wih my PC but at the moment the console is disconnected from the wifi and I have to use the controller to put the wifi back on; I tried to use a remote app from the Google Play Store that connects to the Xbox without
wifi but it didn't work. Finally I used the Xbox Accessories app on my PC but the button layout there can only be changed if you have a Elite Xbox controller... The easiest solution would then be to buy another controller but: can you reset the button layout
of the old by using the new one by going in thr profile setting or is it something dependent only on the old controller and not the console? or even more simply is there are handy reset of the button layout that doesn't require you to use the controller at
all (or at least to not use the A button in my case...)?

I would like to know if anyone has another method that they used, if there is a reset without the controller but mainly if with a new controller if it is possible to rest the button layout of the old one? Thanks in advance.
