Xbox Elite 2 Controller right thumbstick adding split-screen to games

I just tried it myself, and it also does nothing for me. Thank you for pointing it out, I will send that feedback back to get it corrected.

I did get it to tell me that there was a revert on my controller, and I am re-updating it.

Try connecting the controller via USB-C and clicking on the link in the support page. Click "Update now", see if it forces it to revert. Then close the app and click on the link again and see if you see a message behind the controller picture saying "there was a reverted firmware" or something similar to that.

Do you have an Xbox console? Or a friend who may have one? Originally that was the only way to revert the firmware, it may be the easiest way.

Yes, I did so with the same controller, through Bluetooth (no Wireless Adapter or cable) and played in offline mode, freeplay / training.

You can also try uninstalling / reinstalling the game to see if that forces an update/fix in the game. If not, if you believe the controller may be an issue you can try reverting the firmware to see if that helps. Before you begin troubleshooting any of the following problems, first verify that you have the latest version of Windows and that all Windows updates are complete: How to get software and driver updates for Windows devices

Second, make sure your controller is up to date using the Xbox Accessories app. To open the Xbox Accessories app on Windows 10/11, press the Start button, type Xbox Accessories or choose it from the list, and then sign in. If the app isn’t installed on your PC, get it here: Microsoft Store. You will need to plug in your controller to the PC using the USB-C cable in order for the app to detect the controller and perform necessary updates.

You can adjust your settings and bind certain buttons while in the Xbox Accessories app. Once the controller is up to date, try running the Rocket League game again, and see if you continue to have issues. If you do, please check the Gamepad controls in the game settings.

Nothing I tried worked. I tried downgrading through Xbox console, through the link sent (that did nothing), and tried upgrading through the Xbox Accessories app on PC. Nothing worked. I didn't try the official dongle, which might work. But I don't want to spend another $25 on something I shouldn't need in the first place. I end up just playing wired or just don't push the right thumbstick until you're in a match. If you're in a match, it'll work correctly and show behind you instead of adding a person. Because of this, I'm thinking it could be a problem with the game itself. I haven't tried giving feedback for the bug to Epic/RL itself. Maybe try putting in a ticket with them directly?

hey man was wondering if u ever found a fix to this. I've been saving up for this controller and exited to hop on some rocket league after not getting to play it for a month and now I'm having the same prob. complete buzz kill so hopefully u found something and can reply to this quickly if u have. my gt is dogshark0817 if u need.
