    Xbox Elite 2 Controller a big letdown!!!


    I owned 2 of the original elite controllers for me and my wife. Aside from very poorly bumper designs all in all it was a great controller. There was replacement parts to replace the bumpers so ok that wasn't bad. Elite 2 is a total letdown after a few
    months of use i have to literally mash the right bumper on my controller for it to register and my wife's fires constantly on the rapid fire selection on the right trigger. Needless to say this will be the last time we buy Microsoft controllers. This is not
    acceptable especially when you pay $229.99 per controller in Canada. At that price that thing should be practically indestructible. Very disappointed!!!

    Not really. On the console they would simply do nothing or be mapped to a button that the game utilizes. On pc playing something like rocket league is great on a controller however there are game functons that remain unmapped due to lack of controller
    buttons. No its not a replacement for a keyboard but meant to be high end gaming equipment whether you are on pc or console. These features would greatly help the sales of this equipment and help further Microsoft endeavors into pc gaming space and cross compatibility

    Thanks for the reply. The Elite controller series 2 has various methods of mapping the buttons and paddles as compared to the series 1. If you haven't done so already, I recommend taking a look at the following support articles that
    can assist you in determining how to set up the different functions, including how to use Shift with the controller to give you alternate inputs:
