Xbox elite 2 can’t connect to xbox accessories app on pc

According to the above topic I want to set up my joystick so I connect my controller to my computer using usb c cable but it can't connect, it says "unfortunately this app doesn't currently support your controller's new firmware on pc. We're working on updating the pc experience. Check back soon!" This has been happening since late 2021. Until now still can't solve. but if i connect my controller to my computer with bluetooth The app can see the joystick but can't set any settings because usb c cable is needed to set up. please help me.

I'm using windows 10 version 21h2 and Xbox accessories is latest version.

    *i don't have xbox.

Finally, I apologize if the language I type is difficult to read. I use google translate to type.

    :)

Hi Nonphusi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Just a friendly reminder though that according to Microsoft "If you’ve updated your controller with the latest firmware version (5.11.3118), you may experience problems configuring the controller with the Accessories app on a Windows device. We are aware of this issue and our engineering team is currently working on a fix. In the meantime, you can still configure your controller using the Accessories app on your Xbox console. The controller’s updated settings will then carry over when you connect it to a Windows device."

Did you even read the question?? Person said they have no xbox and you give an xbox as a solution. Geez learn to read the question before putting the copy paste answer in there.

Hi, is this still being worked on? I am still waiting for a fix

At least one guy have said to me that they managed to get an update for the Xbox Accessories App for PC. Version 300.2202.25001.0, not sure why not everyone is getting this update

Are Xbox Wireless Controller user remap profiles supported when connecting to Windows 10 PC via bluetooth? Works fine when USB

    Hi

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to answer that.

Customizing user profiles on a Windows 10 PC is not supported via Bluetooth. Any Bluetooth capable Xbox One controllers will need to be plugged in via USB-C or through the Xbox Wireless Adapter if you want to customize and use custom profiles. The Xbox Accessories
app will not detect your controller over Bluetooth connection.

Use the Xbox Accessories app to customize your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2

    Things to keep in mind:

    • The Xbox Accessories app is only available on Xbox One and Windows 10.
    • To configure the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, get the Windows 10 May 2019 Update (or later) and make sure your PC has the latest fixes.

See how to get updates .
    • The Xbox Accessories app won’t detect your controller if you’re using Bluetooth to connect to your PC. Connect your controller using Xbox Wireless, or plug the included USB-C cable into the back of the Xbox Elite Wireless
Controller Series 2 and plug the other end into your PC. For more info, see
How to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC .

    I hope this helps!
