xbox elite 2 bumper double clicks

MATE you are a LEGEND!!! My LB button stopped working so I simply blew as hard as I can in the gap whilst pressing it down, now it works like new again. I am guessing food gets inside the small gaps and causing it to stop working. Thank you so much.. not

Hey, I’ve had a very similar issue over the past couple of days. My favorite game is Rocket League, I play it all the time. When you are in the air, you can tilt your car left or right by “air rolling”. I had this “air rolling” command bound to my elite
series 2’s LB button. That LB button just recently started acting up. I would jump into the air and it would take a half a second to actually start air rolling. I went to the xbox accessories app and tested the LB button. Sure enough, it took a second to actually
register the click. This controller is extremely expensive, and my warranty ended a few months ago, so i started looking for a fix. I came across someone saying,”blow into the hole between the bumper and the trigger”. Several people were saying this. I didn’t
think it’d work, and I was correct, it didn’t..by itself. I then tried rapidly pressing LB while blowing, and it seems to be working properly now. Hope this helped. I’ll be updating this response if the LB button decides to stop working again. If you are reading

i have the same problem after returning and getting new controller same double click is there an update or somthing

nope there's no update. I haven't even seen microsoft acknowledge this issue even though so many people are having issues

Just send it to Microsoft through online warranty repair. They will send you another controller which will then develop the same issue within weeks. Either you have to buy 2 of these things and rotate them or you dont have a controller for 10-14 days.
This issue is truly infuriating and I think I’m about to give up on the Elite v2 because I’m definitely not willing to buy 2 of a product that has such a major design flaw. This is the worst kind of service and this should have been addressed by at least
December when the problem had already been widely reported. Now nearly 5 months later they still send us controllers that have this issue every time.

My Elite 2 RB just began having this issue today. It also doesn’t respond every time it is pressed. I play Black Desert Online and my characters combos rely heavily on RB to perform. I was hoping the Elite 2 would solve the issues i was having with
bumpers, but at 2 months of use it has failed as well..... very disappointed
