Xbox Edge Browser, Discord Mic access denied

the Edge browser on console doesn't offer all the features like Edge on PC.

I understand you need help with your discord mic problem.

Have you tried using a different headset or mic? Or can you try using another profile? Just to isolate where the issue is coming from.

Also, try using discord on other devices just to check if you can use your headset through your profile.

You can also try doing a reset on the Xbox so that this will sync and update again.

Let's refresh the console's system cache.

NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Console info

5. Select Reset console.

6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

This is the only site where somebody acknowledges this problem. This happened after they put Discord on Xbox. I can only watch streams through the site, and now I can't talk. I hope I get an answer soon, because I refuse to refresh my cache.

Also having the same issue, discord will connect in the edge browser, but the actual overlay/xbox intergration does not connect to a server, it simply sits there for about 10 seconds and then says "Sorry, Looks like you are disconnected. Try connecting Again"

We have tried unlinking and relinking the accounts, clearing all edge history and data and cache.

10 second power off (holding button)

10 seconds unplugged, plug console back in.

All with the same results.

Interesting enough discord does function in the edge browser, but if I switch out of the browser it stops communication (as designed).

Please Microsoft, FIX THIS!!

On the console it's not necessary to play trough the browser, in this case the edge browser on the Xbox don't have all the characteristics of the regular edge browser but on the console all games that can be played on the cloud are accessible trough the game pass section
