    Xbox Edge App Keeps Closing


    Every time I use the edge app to watch a video it constantly closes to the dashboard. It's as if it's just said "na that's enough of that" lol driving me bonkers!

    From searching around I can see people having the same issue dating back years. Yet still no update to address the problem. How hard can it to fix a crashing app Microsoft.

    doesn't matter what site I go to but every 3 to 10 minutes the app closes and sends me back to home. Why does this keep happening. Iv seen posts from 2015 of ppl having this same problem. WHY HAS THIS NOT BEEN FIXED. what is a work around for this please
    I'm losing patients with the spotty reliability of the games and apps on xbox one. I feel I speek for a large group of people when I say PLEASE FIX THIS MICROSOFT!!!

    Hey there,

    Sorry to hear about the issue! Do you happen to have other apps running in the background as you are using Edge? If so, try closing any other apps running and let the Edge browser run on its own to see if the issue pops up again.

    If the issue does persist, our next recommendation will be to
    uninstall and reinstall the app    .

    This is the Edge app on Xbox One? The content found on websites is up to the websites that you're visiting and not controlled by Microsoft or a result of the Edge App. There aren't any extensions with the Xbox One version of Edge, so that would also unlikely
    be the culprit. I would really think it's the visited sites that would be causing the redirection, I'm not sure how it would be done otherwise.
    I would recommend reviewing this page to see if it helps in clearing up what you have in Edge to prevent this.

    Well considering you can't uninstall edge explorer and I have no other apps running in the back round do you guys have a real fix for this it happens every 5 mins on my console I can't even have fb up before it crashes on me
