XBOX DOWNLOAD STUCK

Hi ,

Device - Xbox series x(manufacturer -21 oct 21, delivery date dec 21)

Facing issue since 5months

Isp- Hathway (Pune, Maharashtra,)

COUNTRY -INDIA

Plan - 100mbps(unlimited)

Open nat(Recently open nat before strict nat).

Many times download stuck (same problem with different games)

Example

Forza HORIZON 4

Installing...(STUCK FOR HOURS)

8.36 of 78.25 Gb

(Sometimes stuck at 8gb,10gb,12gb & midway of multiple games)

Facing difficulty of downloading games

Facing this issue on hathway isp (wifi & lan).

Using mobile hotspot not faced any issue download continuosly without stuck ( download 75gb in 5hours)

Network -Jio 4g

Is my Xbox faulty. Anyone raised repaired/replacement request for same issue.

Mine is stuck at downloading from xbox 360 stores

I tried downloading it before it appeared on the dashboard, yet the download keeps getting stuck on 16%, is anyone else having this problem? My internet's fine and my xbox hasn't had any issues, it's literally just this download that specifically gets stuck
at 16%

Hi BaapKeBaap, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Thank you so much for the detailed information. In regards to the details that you have mentioned, I am positive that your console is not faulty we may just need to perform troubleshooting steps with your Network connection since using a mobile hotspot works just fine. (It just so happens that the progress of your download will depend on your download speed and the file size of the game, which may have resulted in the game downloading in 5 hours).

With the troubleshooting steps, kindly follow the steps below accordingly which is called extended powercycle and resetting your network hardware.

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

My xbox game stuck downloading in between it is because of the wifi network issue.in my neighbor's wifi there is no problem.....and in my wifi if game stuck downloading in between I just turn off my xbox and like magic it continue downloading....u just have to turn off xbox and make sure that your power options is not in power saving mode...

While that works for downloading on the xbox console, it does not work for downloading xbox music to a phone with a kids account. It is the phone and PC scenario that we are stuck on.
