Xbox don't do repairs?

so way back when the xbox one elite controller came out I bought worked great then outta know where it started to act up like the dpad was getting very hot and everytime I put fresh batteries in it would drain them in like 2min...so I call Microsoft to see
if they do repairs n they don't they'll send you a new one only if it's been under a year since you purchased it so now I spent $150 on a product that's can't be repaired unless I spend another $150 for a new controller like Microsoft be complicated like they
say all this stuff we wanna work with our fans etc...well shoot bet u Sony probably does better with these situations...my apologize for sounding rude just aggravating they can't do nothing

how is this Ok? How can they give me another ban threw a case review message? This seems really extreme considering no one actually gets offended they just like to report people to abuse the system to get everyone ban.

 

Don't know what to do.

Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard reset, and then re-adding the account to see if that clears up the issue.

 

in this case what do I do just deal with it?
