    Xbox Dongle


    I recently bought an Xbox One after years of playing on the Xbox 360. I currently have one Xbox One controller, but I have multiple Xbox 360 controllers. I was curious if I would be able to buy a Xbox Dongle and connect my Xbox 360 controllers to them
    and use them to play straight on the Xbox One. I've seen videos to where I can connect wired controllers to a Windows 10 laptop and play that way, but just buying the dongle would be less of a hassle with the cords all around.

    Do you have the Dongle for the controller? Usually, they suggest getting the USB dongle( Xbox one direct) instead of the basic connect.

    To have a xbox 360 controller work on the xbox one you would have to use a 3rd part dongle. There is no licensed Microsoft product that would allow a 360 controller to work on the xbox one.

    I did some research but need a bit more info. What type of dongle do you have? To be able to use your dongle for your son's Xbox you will need a wifi-Dongle. This allows you to have other devices to connect to you dongle internet. I do not think you can
    connect to Live without that. But I will do more research on this and get back to you!

    if anyone has a similar issue i plugged in a generic Bluetooth dongle and can confirm the Xbox official dongle was the issue , the double tap the switch devices now works
