    Xbox doesn't recognize my Live Gold membership


    Good day,

    I'm experiencing problems with my Xbox Live Gold membership. If I go in my account settings, clearly my membership is valid until december 2018. But my Xbox does not recognize it at all. All the games I'm trying to play aren't working, it pops me a window
    were I can buy a new membership, WHICH I DON'T WANT...

    Honestly, I'm having a really bad time at the moment, as Microsoft's support is one of the worst I had to deal with in a while. Impossible to contact a human. Thanks 2018... Anyway, does anyone can help me?

    I'm having the same issue, It's not downloading my gamer information and doesn't recognize that I have an Xbox Gold Live membership.

    We appreciate you reaching out to us with this issue. Gold subscribers shouldn't be seeing prompts to buy gold, that's pretty strange. We're also sorry to hear about your experience with support, but hopefully we can offer some assistance. We're sure you
    were already asked to do something similar, but we want to try to reset some settings. Let's try powering down your console, unplug the console and router for five full minutes, and let us know how that goes for you.

    Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, as stated in our FAQ:

    —My Xbox Live Rewards account is not recognizing my Xbox Live Gold membership. What should I do?

    We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:
