Xbox doesn't let me play/join parties even though I have a gameshare that has gold

As it says in the title everytime I attempt to join a xbox party or a multiplayer game my xbox gives me a grey screen loads for a second then goes back to the screen before what do I do I've completely reset my Xbox already and I'm trying to play.

I checked and it still is but I still cannot play my xbox also tells me when I try to play apex that my account isn't allowed to access xbox life.

But I also go back into his account and check and it says that I still have the game share

What do you mean by gameshare with gold?

My home Xbox allows you to share on the console, within your household, Xbox Live and games that you own. The feature isn't meant to be used in a gameshare way between different households.

You say uou have factory reset, this would remove the My Home Xbox feature and the account with Live gold would need to be put on again.

Sharing account details and login information, is a violation of the code of conduct and can result in Enforcement.

does the account that has gold have your xbox set as its home xbox still? are you 100% sure of that? maybe they have set a different xbox as their home xbox.
