    Hi.

    I am from Romania and for christmas i did get an xbox series s.

    There wasent a problem until i did see that it does not have romania as an region.

    That dosent bother me but when i try to buy games i cant.

    Because it asks from what state i am and i am from romania.

    Why dosent it support romania?

    Microsoft does not have licenses to sell games and movies in Romania. The specific reasons are never made public

    Selling in a country you don't have a license for can lead to large lawsuits

    If this changes it will appear on Microsoft social media.

    This is because Romania is not an officially supported Xbox LIVE country and you are essentially finding a way around that by registering an account in a country that does have LIVE.

    You, yourself created the issue of not being able to download content. Until Romania is listed on that officially supported Xbox LIVE country list then you will run into issues with region locked content when purchasing and downloading content. There's no way
    around that.
