Xbox does not remember WiFi

Well it's 2020 and Microsoft has still not fixed this WiFi issue I can not believe this Company This is honestly EMBARRASSING and super frustrating. if Microsoft can’t do simple stuff like remembering passwords but can put out a new xbox every year then
maybe they aren’t doing enough for their consumers and should be left behind. Same with Bluetooth! every other console allows Bluetooth headphones except Xbox. If it isn’t clear they don’t have the consumer in mind and are beings lazy by not giving the consumers
what they want. Maybe they’re bottlenecking with Sony So they don’t have to innovate as much, putting the same thing out every year. Xbox needs more competition!

I'm not sure what causes this. I have 3 consoles in my house and they all remember my wifi but for whatever reason when my friend comes over and brings his console it NEVER remembers my wifi, he says this happens at his own house as well. I've also noticed
that every time he turns on his Xbox it turns on like he just did a hard restart (Xbox Loading Screen). Must be a bug?

If you switch Wi-Fi connections then indeed it does store the password. This is because that is a patented feature and both Sony and Microsoft do not pay the license for that.

Well, it does remember your wi-fi connection, even if you connect a ethernet cable, are you using a "router bridge" or something?

try using wired since you dislike entering you pw multiple times.

The xbox usally remember wlan passwords.

So try to setup the xbox in Fast-Start and try again.

Does this happen to all devices?

-> check your router/modem setup

Is there a way to connect it wired?

Otherwise there is a way to use dlan-adapters.
