Xbox does not link properly with epic games fortnite for pc

Bella, if you used Fortnite from your console before you had an account linked to Epic Games, it is not possible to use this game without linking your Microsoft account to that platform. Because of this, you will need to contact Epic Games support directly so that they can verify exactly which account is associated with the game profile. If you created a new account, you cannot earn the previous progress you indicate to have on that account.

start the game on an Xbox console with your gamertag linked with Epic or get a refund, all purchases for fortnite on PC have to be via the Epic store or within game. on pc it has nothing to do with Microsoft.

Epic Games recommends creating a new Epic account for each platform from which you play: PC, Xbox, and Playstation. When you played on console, Fortnite created a temporary Epic account for you based on your Xbox Live or PSN
credentials, and signing in to the
Fortnite Website with your XBL/PSN credentials will allow you to promote it to a full Epic account.

Do not use the credentials for any existing Epic account. If you get an "account already linked" error message, you are most likely trying to use an email address or display name that is already in use.

If you have previously linked an Epic account to multiple platforms, you will want to contact Epic Support to properly move your linked accounts over without deleting your progress.

Once you've created your new Epic account (or promoted your console account to a full Epic account), you can return to Fortnite Scout and view your console stats with your new Epic username.

Hi MasRap, i believe once you link your xbox account to your epic games account on epics website these will appear on your pc version of Fortnite.

unless your Microsoft account is linked to epic via the console then redeeming the code will apply it to your account but you will not see anything via Fortnite on the epic pc version.

in future purchase all your Fortnite stuff via the epic store or in game.
