    Xbox displays black screen and nothing on it works


    Need help with a console breaking issue. So I have an Xbox One, connected to a TV and it has been working fine for the past 4 days on this TV. Recently, I turned off my Xbox to go do something, came back a couple hours later and turned the Xbox back on only for it to display a pitch black screen. I can’t do anything on the Xbox besides hold down the power button on the controller to access the “what do you want to do?” pop up to turn off the console and turn off the controller and that stuff. I have unplugged my Xbox and plugged it back in, restarted it multiple times, switched the HDMI cords around and nothing has worked, it still displays this screen. Even after trying a hard reset it still did nothing. If this is an issue with other people then I haven’t been able to find anyone who’s had the same thing happen to them. Thank you.

    I have the same issue - only this morning (BST/GMT) has it stopped working it was working last night.

    an update just toke my xbox out i just got the 1.2 GB update and wen it got done it was just gone i can turn it off restart it and wen i try to report a problem it just says collecting information and i don't what to use the factory reset

    Same here. First I could connect to WiFi but not internet. Then, after a hard reset, it came back on with a black screen. I hope it's a fixable issue.

    Windows 11 won't connect to Xbox series x.

    That’s the thing neither will work on remote casting it’s just a black screen on the Xbox app and it won’t appear when I press windows + K for remote display so neither will work.
