Xbox disk drive won’t work

Microsoft. I’m disappointed. My Xbox one disk drive has stoped working. I have only owned this console for one year. I don’t mind that the drive didn’t work with movies. But I’m upset that I can no longer play a game that I’ve purchased. Due to faulty hardware. I don’t have the kind of money to purchase a new disk drive or the online version of the game. Is this the types of product your ok being out in circulation. If you don’t mind I would hope that you could send my account an online code to forza horizon 5 so I can continue playing the game, and spending money in your store.

Hello Travis, as mentioned above if you have an Xbox One S or X they have been discontinued and Microsoft unfortunately no longer has a paid repair service.

if you only bought an xbox one a year ago then that would be used, they stopped making them a while ago. you wont get a digital code, you will have to have it repaired at a local repair shop as microsoft no longer repair the ones.

There is a chance that your game can still work. If you download the game to your hard drive it is possible that the game will then work fine because then it only uses the disk drive to confirm you have Halo 4 in the Xbox. WARNING: A cracked disk can shatter
in the disk tray and break your Xbox.

I have the exact problem and I can't fix it either just throw away you're disk drive and buy a broken xbox with another disk drive and it will work
