Xbox disc game on PC/Laptop?

So I already found a similar 2019 post by AidenGraham, but I wasnt too sure. But I have an Xbox 1 and it has a FH4 (Forza Horizon 4) disc installed and I want to have it downloaded on my Laptop (so its not like I can put the disc in), when I go to the Microsoft store it asks me to buy it, and yes I was on the right acc and this should work since FH5 is available and I had that but bought digitaly not by disc on my Xbox, so I want to know if a disc bought game can be downloaded on my windows 11 laptop.

(if its what I think and it doesn't work, maybe can you guys tell me a good way to stream the game to my Laptop, thank you)

Everything has a runtime which has to match the os

With the exception of proton and parallels

VMs only recognize their native runtimes every OS has runtimes and VMs which run them

If you want to play it on PC, then yes. You would have to purchase it again.

No that's completely different

Play anywhere is only on digital purchases

Disk versions arent since you only have the xbox runtime not Windows runtime on the disks

Hi,

To download a Play Anywhere title on PC, you must own the digital download version of the game. Disc games do not qualify. If you have the game on disc for Xbox One you won't be able to download it for free on your laptop.
