    Xbox Digital Game Installation Trouble


    Hey there

    I've got an Xbox One S, and I've downloaded some games last week and today. So tonight I wanted to download some other games, and it says "not compatible" with my Xbox One S. Despite all the games I have being compatible, and the game I tried installing for example "South Park The Fractured But Whole". I played 2 days ago, now it's saying its not compatible.

    So I've reset my xbox, turned off the plugs, signed in and out, hard factory reset my xbox (all games and apps deleted). Deleted, signed back in and so on. Its still saying "not compatible" where the GB size would normally be for a game installation.

    Try downloading from other devices like the Xbox app and your computer to see if that helps, make sure all updates are installed and the internet is connected.

    I saw that you did some procedures and it didn't solve try to clear the cache, in some cases it can solve the problem: Press the Xbox button on the controller.
    Go to your profile icon and select “Settings”.
    Select "Devices and Connections", then "Blu-ray".
    Select "Persistent Storage".
    Select "Clear Persistent Storage". (Note) Clearing the cache removes all game updates already downloaded. You will need to download these updates again the next time you play the game.

    It's really hard to help you with so little information.

    Titan fall should work on your Xbox One without any issues. (as long as it's an Xbox One disc, or you have an Xbox One digital version)

    Installation stopped

    I'm from Australia also , Have done all trouble shooting steps , The trouble shooting steps are for disk and the games are digital downloads , I tried it with a disk game and it installs normal but digital downloads are giving me the installation stopped
    and once it finally installs i get corrupted game message and its been downloading at like 10mbps when i usually get 50 - 70

    Its definitely on there end not ours man the last update was dodgy and messed things up i think

    Backup Copies of XBox 360 games

    Xbox 360 discs are in a proprietary format anyway, so making a backup is very difficult. That being said, it's not recommended. Too much trouble, and really, the best way is to install your games or have them in digital format.
