XBOX digital content refund on visa gift card

Hello, Recently I bought in game content with a visa gift card. Realizing I bought the wrong one I requested a refund, the refund was soon approved and it said "Your order(s) have been
refunded. You should see it credited to your account and sent to your financial
institution within 5 business days-" As of now I havent gotten a credit and the content in the game hasn't been removed. What should I do?

Well its true but you forgot one thing

You have to wait till your card provider proccess it

It can take upto 30 days

And considering my experience with prepaid visas it can take upto 2months keep jn mind mine wss a fraud charge

So it will go back to the card? How long did it take with you? And was the content immediately removed?

What type of gift card do you mean xbox gift card or visa gift cards

If visa gift cards ita 60 days due to the visa gift card policy

Once it's approved by ms

If xbox 3-5business day

Keep in mind it was just thenholidays so expect delays

You cannot return games and digital downloads for gift cards. You may be eligible for a refund for the digital content, but you will have to fill out the form for the refund here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/xbox-subscriptions/digital-goods-subscriptions-refund

I did this and all the options I had was for a digital or physical Visa card and neither of those have a 25 character code that can be redeemed on Xbox

That is correct. What you would have redeemed from the vault is a prepaid Visa card, not an Xbox gift card.

Yes and the instructions provided by Xbox state you can redeem for a visa card or redeem a 25 digit code on the Xbox Store and at no time is there an option for a 25 digit code. The instructions need to be change
