Xbox developer publishing agreement

Is there a reason why you want this game removed from GamePass? I don’t think it is possible to make such requests as there are licence agreements in place between Xbox and publisher/developers of the game for it to be on GamePass in the first instance.

It all depends on the agreements they have with the publishers/developers. Only Microsoft games are guaranteed to stay on Game Pass.

Games can be re-added, but there's no way to know until they make an announcement.

Because publishers are greedy, and if you've ever actually read the End User License Agreement (EULA) on any piece of software like a game, the publisher/developer retains ownership of the contents of the disk. You just own the container, which costs about
2 cents.

A common reason for games like this to get delisted is due to expired copyright licenses. With THPS-HD, I'm guessing the music licenses expired, which means that the developer can't legally have the game available for purchase anymore
(on any platform).

It's not necessarily Microsoft's fault, that was just the agreement the game publishers made with the music publishers when they developed THPS-HD.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Most cross play is affected by the developers to allow it to happen. You can also write to Microsoft to better reach someone as they do not monitor the forums for this.
