Xbox Design Lab Improvement Ideas

So if you're gonna call it 'Xbox Design Lab' than I think you could at least let us design an Xbox we want. Also, it would be nice to have a color wheel like on google docs or apple (money grabbers) has. And maybe also let us choose the rubber
grip, menu, view, and Xbox light color and paint color. And one last thing, please let us add images.

Glad I'm not the only one who likes my idea. By the way, when I talked about customizing the xbox light I meant the color, and the paint is the x. So you could have something like a red light with a blue x. And I also realized they could add camo
and shadow paints too (shadow would be better on a bigger surface because there's more room to fade).

So I do hope you give credit to me if you do this but I can't force you to but please feel free to share, post, or even talk to other people about it. Then it has a chance of becoming real.

This could be a thing with the next console, and it would be awesome if every standard controller have detachable parts...that i can replace or have it in another colors.

 

A customized Xbox would be a good idea. I like it.

 

That would be a nice addition, however creating a custom manufacturing process for that wouldn't be cheap /cost effective so as the consumer you would need to pay extra for it and it might be too much :-/

Who knows perhaps they will work something out in the future.

 

being able to customise a full xbox like a controller would be nice, theres plenty of after market vinyl kits but having it done in house when you buy the console from microsoft would be very nice.

I would pay extra to customize the console, but the controllers I'm not too bothered.

 

Your idea is really great if it would come up with new generation of consoles.

I do agree with you, with fully customization of controllers. Triggers, buttons etc. Make it higher, larger. It will be also better for people with disabilites. Love your idea and support that!

 

I ABSOLUTELY support this idea! Xbox could even license some of their IPs to add extra designs to console shells, the times I have longed to have a Sunset Overdrive graffiti inspired Xbox One..

I think that once MS sees a profit in the Design Lab part of things, the company may experiment with console designs in future, but this will cost more and may have limited options. Would really like them to look into this one!

Of all the controllers out there, I’d still love to get my hands on a gold 3CPO controller from the 360 days. I’d love a gold controller for the One.
