Xbox design lab controller mix up

I ordered a controller about 2 weeks ago at this point and it is past the expected arrival date and the order still shows pending even after the money has already been charged. Not to mention I also realized that the initial design that I had was wrong and ordered the wrong controller essentially. Since the order is still pending can I change out the design with any additional charges associated with it or would I have to send the controller back once it arrives? I have tried the customer support avenue but all I get is the link to the support page which does not help at all.

Unfortunately no. Once you place the order you can't change the design and since they are custom made, they can't be returned.

The warranty for Design Lab controllers is 120 days (6 months). You can use this article (Xbox Design Lab and Xbox
Design Lab controller help) for any troubleshooting you need for your controller. If you do need servicing for your controller, you can set it up at https://support.microsoft.com/devices.

If you continue to have issues with the DL controller I would suggest setting up a repair order if it's still under warranty.
