    Xbox denied my gift card


    I entered the gift card code into my Xbox, but then it told me that it was having issues. It sent me back to the previous screen where I tried to enter the card code again but then it said that the card had already been redeemed. So now the card won’t work and there are no funds on my account.

    So, you just restated my problem as the solution. Awesome. I don't know anyone with a 360, and do not have a credit card. I can use my microsoft account balance drafted from the gift card to purchase things from the microsoft store, but not the xbox store
    on the xbox website, even though it is an xbox gift card, and not a "microsoft store" gift card.

    Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. The Microsoft account balance is essentially the same as a gift card since funds typically come from Xbox gift cards.
