Xbox dashboard showing keyboard option whenever i click home button

This is actually a Steam Keyboard. In your Steam window: View ----> Settings ----> Controller ----> Desktop Configuration. This will open a window that displays your controller. Click the box on the bottom left showing the various Arrow Keys. It will show a few settings. On the right, click on "Show Keyboard" under the "Click Action" setting. This will open up a keyboard and mouse with a bunch of possible bindings. Click the "Remove" button, below the keyboard display. Back out of the settings and click 'OK This will unbind the keyboard from popping up

The problem is that the onscreen keyboard or virtual keyboard will not appear whenever I try to search, enter passwords, or text the virtual keyboard never appears the cursor flashes a few times then stops the controller is completely unresponsive the only responsive button on the controller is the home button in the center of the controller which pulls up an onscreen menu that I still can't navigate because no other buttons on the controller are responsive but like I previously said this is only temporary but as soon as I need to pull up the virtual keyboard it happens all over again my virtual keyboard will not appear onscreen

Thanks for that information. If you are seeing gaming video recommendations when you open a new tab on your web browser, your browser's settings have likely been changed to use a custom new tab page. To remove these recommendations and restore your browser's default new tab page, you will need to change your browser's settings.

Here is how to do this in the most popular web browsers:

In Google Chrome, click the three dots in the top-right corner of the window, then select "Settings" from the menu. In the "Appearance" section, click the "Reset to default" button next to the "Show Home button" option.

Whenever games freeze or never stop loading, go to the dashboard, click the start button and then click quit. It should work but last case is to power off but hold that button down until it stops (ten seconds or so.) That dumps your cache and should be done
bi-monthly.
