I had a promotion on my dashboard today so i renewed for 12 months so i could get 1 month of game pass and try out sea of thieves. after purchasing 12 months i got an email saying thank you for buying xbox live but i still do not have a code for game pass.
Where is my code??????

I purchased 12 months of xbox live gold today because the xbox dashboard had a promotion that if i renewed my xbox live gold i would get 1 month of game pass for free. we i still have not received my code and i want it ASAP

Free month of xbox live gold with game pass

I just signed up for xbox live gold yesterday and when i sign on today there's a new promotion on my dashboard saying that if i join i also get a free month of gold. I would of waited the extra day had i known. Im wondering if considering
i literally JUST signed up for game pass if im still eligible to receive that free month of xbox live gold. Thank you.

Typically for promotions of this nature, the code for that should arrive within 30 days after the purchase; so we can take a closer look into that with you here, can you reply back with a picture of the dashboard tile you saw for
that promotion? If there are any official terms listed on the console for that promotion, a picture of those terms can help as well.

We're not aware of any promotions currently running that fit that description; is it possible you're thinking of this promotion for a free month of Xbox Live Gold for purchasing a Game Pass membership?

The promotion ran the week of March 24 and is the only reason I renewed my gold when I did! It said renew gold and get game pass! I’m not sure if it was an error on Xbox’s side, but the promo was there March 24.

i also have question about game pass. My subscription for gold just renewed this month. I have a promotional code for one month of game pass ultimate. Now in the game pass faq it says when subscribing to game pass the account is upgraded and all the remaining
gold subscription migrated over. So my question is if i cancel game pass after one month will i go back to xbox live gold or do i need to resubscribe.

Hello welcome to the forums! In this case if you have a active Xbox Live Gold membership your subscription will migrate to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So in this case you will lose your Xbox Live Gold and when your Xbox GamePass Ultimate expire you will need
to resubscribe again.

plus remember if for example you have 12 months of Xbox Live Gold, when you migrate your subscription the system will tell you how many months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate you will get!
