    Xbox Dashboard // Menus Freezing


    Hi, My Xbox dashboard will occasionally (probably 5-6 times a day) freeze. When I close the menus and open them back on it remains on what I was on when it froze. For example if I had just clicked on my party and can see everyone in it, the dashboard
    freezes, I click the main Xbox button on the controller to close the menu, I open the menu again its still frozen on the party. It stays frozen for 20-30 seconds. After it’s done being frozen it will remove me from any party I am in and continue as if it never
    happened.

    Hello Bee,

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning slow performance and screen freezing on your Xbox One console.

    We recommend trying a power cycle
    of the console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
    reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out first and let us know the results.

    My issues is with Madden. It isn't dashboarding me but its going through the motions only to freeze after basically cutting sound off. I open any bit of Madden's main menu and it freezes. Have to Dashboard and eject disc. Crazy cause it literally worked
    15 minutes ago.

    problems with live connecting to everything..

    The Injustice forum on Facebook has exploded with people having the same problem with the game ticking over on the title screen but never loading to the game's main menu, then when you try to return to the XBox dashboard the console freezes.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I used the guide menu and signed out of my account. I then was able to access the dashboard. I cleared the cache and signed back into my user account and it froze again without loading the dashboard.

    I tried signing out again and got to the dashboard. I then signed in under my wife's profile which is not connected with an XBox Live account and was able to access the dashboard still. However, as soon as I sign into my profile or restart the console the
    dashboard freezes.

    I thought it was freezing because if I hit the dashboard button i get the sound of it popping but the menu never shows up until after i take the disc out.
