    Xbox dashboard lacks any new title advertisements or trailers .


    Ive noticed recently that my dashboard is covered in ads for old games, games with gold, and game pass... but when I find out about an actual title that's going to release its from some other source. Then when I try to find the game in question I have to search and type the name in order to even watch a trailer cause the upcoming game doesn't seem to exist anywhere. No matter how big of a title it is it isnt there. Just a dashboard full of **** basically. Whats up with this? I mean isnt that a pretty big oversite?

    Got it since it was out.

    Got the info from Xbox Wire and launch trailer on internet.

    And saw several "windows/advertisements" on Xbox one dashboard and marketplace.

    I found unfair that the new track isn't a free update (similar to Forza 5) and add 5-10 more Porsche for the expansion and more races for each section.

    Cool expansion,anyway. :)

    'Advertising' query on UK consoles

    I usually get to see the movies for free since Im the projectionist at my local theater. We do run advertisements before the show up until the advertised start time. Then at the advertised start time the Movie begins with the trailers. Believe it or not,
    but theaters are required to put certain trailers on movies based on what the studio requests. Some studios go as far as to send a person on opening weekend to check for proper trailers and count attendance to make sure we aren't letting people go for free.
    But when it goes >Trailer>advert>trailer>trailer>advertisement>advertisement>trailer>advertisement>trailer>film thats rude to the paying customers imo. Ours goes >advertisements>advertised start time>Trailers>film. If my theater ever runs rolling stock(advertisements
    after advertised start time) I will no longer work there.

    there's a trailer for it on the dashboard under this.weeks new releases. looks pretty pants if honest.

    Dashboard officially drops on December 6th.

    I liked the Blades for its lack of in your face advertising but I enjoyed the NXE the most because every function I wanted was on the My Xbox channel and if I wasn't signed in or I made it so there was no Live connection, the NXE would default to My Xbox.

    Unfortunately the new dashboard has inherited the functions being in different places and has given the advertisements the focus.

    Don't get me wrong I think the dashboard navigates well with the controller and remote but not as well as it would with the voice commands of Kinect, it just doesn't feel...well friendly. Nothing really more descriptive I can say while in the Preview.
