Xbox Customise Controller Design

Iv recently purchased a customise xbox one controller and iv received the order without my gamertag. And even though the money hasn't been added for it am i able to send my controller back and get the gamer tag added to the controller and pay the money
for it?

Hi CameronMaurer,

No one makes you spend $149 on a Elite Series controller but the $50 controller does not have paddles, hair trigger locks , customisation and changeable sticks/ d-pad. Both controllers have their positives and negatives but none of them are deal breakers
as Xbox have perfected/mastered the design of the controller.

This has happened to mine also, it's obviously a design issue and it's a shame they've not been retrofitted or anything; personally I'd prefer an updated design where you can customise the grips, choosing between the rubberised grips, the "diamond" grips
features on the newer pads, or he smoother matte finish of the older controllers.

If you carry out an internet search you will probably be able to find parts to allow you to customise your controller but this would not be supported by Microsoft. However it is possible that
Xbox Design Labs might be available where you are and this would allow you to get a custom controller directly from Microsoft.
