    Xbox Customer Support Puts People on hold for an hour?


    Never had to deal with support before, I was transferred three times and put on hold for over an hour. They sent me a controller that was open and wet. Infuriating. I have been a loyal Xbox customer for years. Is this typical treatment? If so I understand why they get their butt kicked by Sony and Nintendo.

    I am right at a 2 hour hold after support called ME. There was no warning whatsoever that I would have to wait on the phone for -hours-. Microsoft called ME and put me on hold :(

    Done all these steps, thanks for posting that.

    I spent *three hours* (an hour and a half of that was spent on hold) on the phone with XBOX support on saturday (plus an additional 2 hours on chat) to discover that it's not fixable. The rep, who was shady as can be, set up a repair order for me, took
    my credit card, etc. The whole process of trying to get this tested and replaced has taken over EIGHT HOURS!! Then on Sunday i checked on the replacement status on the Microsoft website only to discover that the rep HADN'T EVEN PUT THE REPAIR ORDER IN.
    I called Xbox support back, waited on hold for another hour, and the new microsoft rep confirmed that the previous one hadn't done ANYTHING for me - he took my credit card number from me and kept talking about how much money I have in my account. Phenomenally
    shady support in every way.

    Honestly, this is the worst customer service i've ever received in so many ways. Microsoft - you're losing a die hard customer.

    Dont call MS they are utterly useless and they just bounce you from people to people and put you on hold, try using customer support chat on the website they are way more competent. I had to go through a return also you can check
    http://myservice.xbox.com and see if your order is still processing or has actually shipped.
