    Hi all,

    in 2019 my controller became faulty and I sent it to the centre and got a brand new controller back. in March 2020 it became faulty again and I sent it with the box and to my surprise, it came in a brown box and I lost my box. I contacted support many times and they said hardware team and blah blah. in may after talking for a while they made a service requesting assuring me they would sort it out. before I was about to send it they said the hardware team closed the case. so I was shocked and contacted to just make a new case. once again I received the same controller in a brown box. in June less than 30 days controller became faulty I asked support what they could do. and one agent I kid you not said if it becomes faulty just keep on sending it again. so I conceded and sent it again. during that period I assume some agent reported me and that as a result locked me out of my Microsoft account for 20 days. after that, I gave up. and in Jan 2021 the controller become faulty again. knowing customer support I just contacted telling them everything and told them to make another case. and now once again controller faulty had to send it in again. customer support has been contacted many times by me I would say I've spent 100 hours on chat with about 100 agents.... I've wasted my time and in return, I've been received defective controllers and the same genric, rest assured the replacement will be brand new. Microsoft needs to do what it did back in 2019.

    Sorry to hear you've had an issue with your controller. I'm afraid that Xbox hardware only has a 90 day warranty so it does look as though they've gone above and beyond on the repair for you. :)

    As for the box, Xbox does not guarantee that extra items will be returned (ie. cables, thumbsticks, boxes, etc) when you send in hardware so it's always best to be sure that you only send what is required to be repaired.

    It does work,it just sometimes takes a while to update.It's down to the repair centre to update it,not customer support.

    Sorry you are having problems with your console. Unfortunately, there is nothing anyone in the forums can do to assist. You will have to work through support on this issue. Good Luck!

    Xbox sent to UK repaired, after repair problem is twice worse than before

    Croatia is not a xbox live supported country so there are no contact details for support.

    Link Distribution is just a retail supplier & not a official Microsoft service centre as far as I can see.

    Like I said,the European service/repair centre is in Germany so it looks like your console has been repaired by a third party repair centre.

    If that's the case then there's nothing anyone here can do.

    If the console is still under warranty you can send it in to Microsoft for repair. The local SA support is very helpful with the repairs.

    If not under warranty then you can try the following.

    Best is to use the official Xbox repair centre in SA.
