Xbox customer service is uncontactable?

Hello Xbox community,

I wanted to share my frustrating experience with my Xbox Series X and seek some advice or assistance if anyone has faced similar issues. Ever since I purchased my Xbox Series X, I've been plagued by a persistent problem. The screen starts flashing green, both the wired internet connection and controller disconnect, and the only way to resolve it is by performing a hard reset on the console. I didn't use the Xbox much initially as I was playing Playing ps5 exclusives but with the release of Diablo 4, I've been using it more frequently. Unfortunately, the glitching issue has become unbearably frequent, causing me die so much I gave up playing it.

I've tried reaching out to Xbox customer support for the past month, but have been unable to get any assistance. Every time I attempt to request a callback through the chat with the virtual agent, I encounter: "We're unable to request a callback right now. Please try again later." I've even tried using different phone numbers, but to no avail. Chatting with a human representative is not an option presented to me. I've also attempted calling the support number, 0800800004, only to be directed to the same place I've been struggling with. Additionally, I've reached out to Xbox on Facebook, but haven't received a response yet.

I've always held Microsoft's customer support in high regard, especially after their handling of the well-known disk drive issue which affected my Xbox One. However, this recent experience has completely changed my perspective.

In an attempt to resolve the issues with my console, I opted to send it away for repair under warranty via self service. The courier tracking shows that it has been delivered, but according to Microsoft's repair status, they haven't even received it yet. With the repair request set to expire in just two days, I'm worried that if they cancel it and I can't contact them, my Xbox will be lost in limbo.

Has anyone else encountered a similar situation or had trouble reaching Xbox customer support recently? If so, I would greatly appreciate any advice or insights you may have on how to resolve this issue. I'm at a loss for what to do next, and I really don't want to be out of pocket $900.

I understand what you are going through and sorry to hear about what happened! You seem to have been through a lot with your console and it will really be best if you get in touch with an Xbox representative directly as we don't have tools here to check account or order status.

About what happened on your delivery status, you should check it on the courrier website if the status is already showing for delivery based on the Xbox page as well https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-ne....

But allow me to guide you how you can get in touch with an Xbox representative to best check your concern, first go to this link https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us

On the page, click on "Contact us" > Subscriptions & billing > I can't redeem a code > Type in "Support" then there you should see option to message or request a callback from the Xbox team. The option I provided here is diferent, this is just a way to easily find the option to reach the Xbox support.

There you shuld see an option to chat and based on experience, I suggest to try going for a chat instead it is much faster for me.

Yet another complaint about the "Enforcement Team" who act as judge, jury and executioners, and frequently get it wrong.

I sympathise with you entirely: particularly the sense of injustice.

No point opening a case review: waste of time in my experience.

Until this faceless, nameless, autonomous, uncontactable enforecement team becomes accountable to the customers, customers will start doing something that they have never done before: consider going to Sony.

On the contact site, change the category/topic until it gives you the option to request a call back or chat with support. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.

I can't request a callback, this is the problem, after I enter my number it says "Something went wrong on our end, we are working hard to fix it".

Can a gamer get a xbox support advisor to call me?
